WELCOME

We welcome patients to the Integrative Pain Center of Alaska where we work as a team to restore quality of life. Patients who join us are asked to be an active integral member of the team dedicated to restoring their function.

ABOUT OUR LOGO

At the center of the logo is “the man in the maze” which depicts experiences and choices we make in our journey through life. To the patient with pain, it symbolizes the challenges faced daily and the choices made. The challenges are difficult and the journey long as well as frustrating, but the right choices lead to a point of balance and triumph over the dysfunction of pain. The triangle surrounding the man in the maze symbolizes the three entities that assist the patient in their journey: pain management, pain psychology and physical therapy/rehabilitation.

Multidisciplinary approach:

A multidisciplinary approach to pain management has been shown to improve the quality of patient care, reduce the use of health care services and overall health care cost.
